1. Introduction: The Principle of Duality and Beauty<\/h2>

L\u00f3gun\u1eb9\u0300de is the personification of duality and enchantment. He is the son of Ox\u00f3ssi and Oxum, and inherited the characteristics of both: he is an expert hunter like his father and possesses his mother's beauty, wealth, and seduction. L\u00f3gun\u1eb9\u0300de lives six months in the forest, hunting like a man, and six months in the rivers, living like a woman, fishing and adorning himself. He represents the union of opposites and the beauty that arises from this harmony.<\/p>

2. Fundamental Myths (Itan)<\/h2>

His origin myth tells that, after his birth, Oxum and Ox\u00f3ssi separated, and L\u00f3gun\u1eb9\u0300d\u1eb9 began to live between the two kingdoms. Another Itan narrates his rivalry with his father, Ox\u00f3ssi, over love, which led to his exile in the rivers under the protection of his mother and Yemanj\u00e1. These myths reinforce his dual nature and his journey between the masculine and feminine worlds, of the forest and the water.<\/p>

3. Domains and Symbols<\/h2>

His domain is the places where the river meets the forest. His symbols reflect his heritage: the Of\u00e1 (bow and arrow) from his father, Ox\u00f3ssi, and the Abeb\u00e9 (mirrored fan) from his mother, Oxum. He also carries a scale, symbolizing balance and justice. His colors are the turquoise blue of Ox\u00f3ssi and the golden yellow of Oxum.<\/p>

4. Archetype and Personality<\/h2>

Logun Ed\u00e9's children are notably beautiful and charismatic, vain, and fond of luxury and comfort. They have a mixed nature, alternating between extroversion and withdrawal, agility and calm. They are sensitive, intuitive, and somewhat emotionally unstable. They are extremely selective in their relationships and strive for perfection in everything they do.<\/p>

Due to his youthful and beautiful nature, he was syncretized with Saint Expedito or Saint Michael the Archangel in some regions. Unlike other Orishas, Logun\u1eb9\u0300d\u1eb9 is not worshipped in terms of "qualities," but rather as a single deity. His complexity lies in his dual essence, not in different manifestations.
